Tucked into a leafy street near Elwood’s iconic canals, this project embraces the character of its surroundings while offering a private, tranquil retreat. The narrow site posed both challenges and opportunities, which we met through a considered architectural response that prioritises light, flow, and connection to nature.

At the heart of the design are a series of courtyard gardens that bring greenery and natural light deep into the home, blurring the boundary between indoors and out. Carefully placed windows frame views while preserving privacy, creating a calm sanctuary that feels both open and protected.
